VISION

We, the Congregation of the Unitarian Church of Los Alamos, New Mexico, affirm and exemplify our Principles and Purposes as we welcome and include all people of liberal faith, promote justice, encourage religious thought and experience in the best traditions of our heritage, and serve as an active testimony to the future.

MISSION

To realize our Vision as a diverse, liberal Congregation that serves our members, friends, and community, and promotes the Principles and Purposes of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations, the Mission of the Unitarian Church of Los Alamos, New Mexico, is to:

• CREATE an inclusive environment for people of liberal faith.
• WELCOME all persons into fellowship and nurture them in meeting their religious needs.
• CONDUCT holistic and fulfilling worship experiences.
• FOSTER spiritual and intellectual development.
• ASSIST in clarifying personal principles, values, and ethics.
• ENHANCE the spirit of community and fellowship.
• CELEBRATE our achievements and passages, both individually and communally.
• WITNESS our religious principles to the larger community, from local to global.
• PROVIDE help, healing and support to those in need.
